Tis The Season

Tis The Season...

Shopping malls full of people. Pretty lights lining the streets. Christmas cards in the mail

Wait, Christmas cards...I need to order mine. For the past few years I have ordered my Photo Cards (http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery) through Shutterfly!

Shutterfly is such a great, user friendly website that lets me use my own photos to make such beautiful Holiday Cards (http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/holiday-cards ). I love giving photo cards as holiday cards, I think they show all our friends and family a glimpse into our lives through pictures.
Being an armature photographer, I have lots of photos to choose from, this will be a hard decision to pick just a few pictures.

This one is my favorite card design and my family will be using this one this Holiday season.

I love how we can give all our friends and family a list of our special occasions we had this past year. With Emerson in our lives now, we have lots of fun memories to talk about.
I might even spring for the Holiday Address Labels (http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/address-labels)!
Also, did you know...Bloggers get 50 free holiday cards from Shutterfly...sign up today: http://bit.ly/sfly2010 !

Why am I on vacation?

Because April, Allison, Benson and I have turned or are turning 30 this year. We thought we needed to celebrate : )

Hello from Myrtle Beach

Well, this whole "blog thing" didn't start off as I thought it would. As I am sitting in my condo in Myrtle Beach with my fellow travelers April, Benson and Allison, I figured now was as good a time as any to get started again. On Saturday, the four of us traveled 1,000 miles and arrived in Myrtle Beach, SC. We spent all day today outside by the pool, lazy river and ocean. I can't believe we have 4 more days of relaxation. April just announced we need to play "D" (that means mexican train dominoes). Gotta Go

Utah

I was awake at 4:30A.M. today to take Brian to the airport. He is in route to Salt Lake City, Utah for a 5 day skiing vacation. To me, this doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun, but to Brian, this is heaven. Brian grew up on the ski slopes and can traverse any hill or obstacle that comes his way. Me on the other hand, some of you know my history with skiing and if you don't, ask me sometime, its a funny story.

First Post

Hello Everyone, Brian and I have started a blog. It will probably take a few weeks to get everything up and running, but soon we will be on our way, using this to showcase what goes on in our lives. I should probably show Brian this before I say anymore : )
